Afghanistan’s Embassy in Stockholm serves as the official diplomatic mission, providing consular services and visas, supporting Afghan nationals, and promoting cultural and official engagement in accordance with diplomatic conventions

Our team works diligently to ensure that Afghan citizens in the Sweden have access to timely, reliable, and transparent consular services.

Our responsibilities

The Embassy is responsible for:

Issuing and renewing passports

Processing Afghan visas for foreigners

Providing document attestation & legalization

Handling birth, marriage, and death registrations

Offering emergency legal and travel assistance

Supporting refugees and Afghan nationals in need

Issuing and renewing passports

Promoting Afghan cultural and educational exchange

It is a great honor to assume my duties as the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Stockholm starting January 1, 2025. While expressing my gratitude for the services of my predecessor, Ambassador Abbas Noyan, my mission is founded on three principles: constructive engagement with the host country, safeguarding the Embassy’s assets and properties with integrity, and dedicating myself to high-quality consular service for Afghans in Sweden and Finland.
